From woodlands and wetlands to parks, heaths and gardens, there is a sense of enduring wildness and wonder to be discovered in London's green spaces. Honouring the capital's abundance and variety of natural beauty spots, Liberty Fabrics Designers drew inspiration from all over the city, from the formal ornamental planting of the Royal Parks to the wild climbing plants of Highgate and the lush carpets of blooms found at Kew. The collection takes us on a captivating daytrip through the most timeless of park activities - flying kites, enjoying an al fresco picnic among the flowers, and making new canine friends.
The collection is traditionally screen printed onto Lasenby cotton, a base specifically developed for quilting and craft projects.
This charming novelty print was drawn by hand in our London studio, exclusively for this collection – Park Pals illustrates the variety of pooches to be found and befriended while strolling through the capital’s green open spaces.
Designed specifically for quilting, our soft Lasenby cotton base is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.
